Our commitment

P@thLion Staffing Inc. is committed to providing services and a website that are accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards, the Alberta Human Rights Act, and the Accessible Canada Act. We treat accessibility as part of respect, one of our four values, not as a compliance exercise.

This website

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means: semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard access to every control, visible focus states, text that scales, colour contrast that meets AA, captions or transcripts for any video we publish, and animations that respect your operating-system “reduce motion” setting. Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.

Known limitations: some job descriptions come from client documents through our applicant-tracking system and may not be perfectly structured. Tell us about a listing you cannot use and we will send it in the format you need.

Recruitment and employment

• We tell every applicant that accommodation is available on request at any stage: application, assessment, interview and placement.
• Skills assessments and interviews are adapted to individual needs, for example extra time, alternative formats, or accessible venues and platforms.
• For contractors we employ, we prepare individual accommodation plans and workplace emergency information where needed, and we share these with the client only with the contractor's consent.
• Our staff receive training on accessible customer service and on interacting with people who use assistive devices, service animals or support persons.
